If you would like to be notified as soon as we are officially in-network with your specific health insurance carrier, please send us a quick note through our contact form!
If you have an insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, you can often receive substantial reimbursement for our services (typically 50% to 80% of the session cost).
How It Works: You pay the standard session fee at the time of service via our secure SimplePractice portal. On the 2nd of each month, you'll receive a specialized clinical receipt called a Superbill in your client portal containing all necessary diagnostic (ICD-10) and procedural (CPT) codes. You submit this Superbill directly to your insurance company, and they will mail a reimbursement check directly to you.
We recommend calling your insurance member services and asking:
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits for outpatient office visits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met yet?
What is the reimbursement rate for service codes CPT 90791, 90837, 90834, and 90832?
Payment & Policies
Card on file: A credit, debit, HSA, or FSA card is kept securely on file in the SimplePractice client portal and charged after each session. If you use an HSA or FSA card, please also add a backup credit or debit card.
Sliding scale: A limited number of reduced-fee spots are available. Ask about them during your free 15-minute consultation.
Cancellations and missed sessions: Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed sessions are charged a flat $100 fee to the card on file.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
Your path is uniquely your own.
I'm here to walk alongside you as you find your way.
